ABOUT ME

Hi !

     My name is Peter Charters (well, technically it's James Peter Charters, but I had a German grandmother who couldn't pronounce "James", so as a headstrong child I decided I was "Peter", and it stuck). I've been a reader of science fiction and fantasy since my memory begins, as well as a digital and tabletop gamer. I'll happily declare myself to be a geek and a nerd. I'm quite possibly a dork as well.

 

     I've been thinking of writing sci-fi for many years - I finished the first draft for Convergence a couple of years ago, and just allowed work to divert me from polishing it. It's been fun, and I'm planning to do a lot more.

 

     Historically I've worked in IT, first as a software engineer then at a Swiss telecoms company as a manager and senior manager in charge of a development group. I took some time off to have kids, and have been working on a web-based startup company with my brother, Tim.
